President Trump withdrew the United States from the climate agreement in June, triumphantly declaring it a victory of his America First motto to be the president of "Pittsburg not Paris".

Trump said it was normal in U.S. politics for campaign teams to look into allegations about their opponents, as his son agreed to do before the meeting in June 2016.

"I don't think this is the right time, but the answer is yes I would", said Trump, who was en route to Paris.

According to The New York Times, the Crocus Group licensed the Miss Universe pageant from the Trump Organization in 2013 to host that year's show in the Russian capital. That's the easy thing for me to do, but that's the stupid thing to do.

U.S. intelligence agencies have accused the Russian government of meddling through hacking in last year's election to benefit Trump and harm Clinton, and authorities are exploring potential coordination between Moscow and the Trump campaign.

Despite the controversy and investigations in Washington over the Trump campaign's alleged ties to the Kremlin, Trump told reporters accompanying him on his flight to France that he would be willing to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the White House.

In one conversation captured on the video, Trump discusses how he came to own the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, noting that the previous owners "didn't know what they were doing", prompting laughter from the Agalarovs.

So what did the President know about what's become shorthanded as the "Russian lawyer meeting" and when did he know it? "It's just fantasy world because the reality is if there was something important that Mr. Agalarov wanted to communicate to the Trump campaign, I suspect he could have called Mr. Trump directly as opposed to having his son's pop music publicist be the intermediary".

Trump and Macron will be holding a joint news conference and will later have dinner together at the Eiffel Tower. On Thursday, he will be appearing in Paris as French President Emmanuel Macron's guest of honor for the country's Bastille Day celebrations.

"Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government", Jefferson wrote to a fellow Virginian, "I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter". "If you got a call and said, 'Listen I have information on Hillary and the DNC, ' or whatever it was they said, most people are going to take that meeting, I think", Trump told Reuters Wednesday.

Macron had warned on the eve of Trump's arrival that "the Western world is fracturing since the American election" and that the world order established after World War II was under threat.

He added, "It's bad for the country".

Scott Balber, an attorney for the Agalarovs, also did not deny the closeness of the relationship between the Trumps and Agalarovs, instead raising a question about Goldstone's credibility. And, by the way, this is now four days.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), who chaired the Democratic National Committee during much of last year's campaign cycle, proposed an amendment targeting Kushner during a House Appropriations Committee markup session Thursday. No thought appeared too big or too small to escape documentation and discussion over a fundamentally insecure communication channel invented more than 50 years ago, and meant for subjects far less weighty than a campaign for the presidency. After initially being denied a visa, she obtained an immigration parol from former Attorney General Loretta Lynch to allow her to defend her client, Prevezon, a Russian holding company on trial in New York for money laundering.

Trump's comments aboard Air Force One are not only at tension with what he said earlier Wednesday.

Regardless of whether he knew about the meeting, there is certainly Russia fever now.

"It really is a great country". But that is not enough.

"I have great respect for Russia".
